This pair of blasters began their assault on dart battlefields last August, as part of Adventure Force’s second half offerings. It was well regarded as both fun and fairly effective. It appears that Adventure Force’s exclusivity on the mold has ended, as we are now seeing it released in a new form under the Dart Zone Titan. As I did not yet cover the Light Command previously, I’m going to cover both blasters here.
Blaster Overview
The blaster design comes from the long-lost land of the Scifi past. It has a thumbhole stock styled foregrip and a similarly angled handle and handguard. The mold itself is liberally decorated in circuitry, cuts, and machinery motifs that seem to have fallen out of a Jack Kirby illustration. The production material is solid. Twisting, squeezing, and otherwise abusing the blaster yielded no distortions and only a few creaks in expected places, such as the battery door. Like most Dart Zone blasters, it butterflies beautifully for easy painting.
The twenty round belt can be emptied via full auto in roughly 10 seconds. The looped belt feeds through the mid-point of the blaster, just in front of the handle. If desired, you can extend the belt with one from another blaster.

On first glance, these two blasters only differ in five areas. The first being the most obvious – the colors used for the mold. The Light Command is primarily white with several blue translucent panels decorated with black tampographs that light up with the trigger pull. The Titan is dark blue where the Light Command is white and has swapped out the translucent pieces with a dark steel grey. Paint features on the Titan are green where they had previously been black. The second difference is the lack of a light feature in the Titan. Third, the tactical rail on the Titan is the same substituted grey instead of the solid black of the Light Command. Fourth, the Light Command belt is blue rather than green. Lastly, the Titan comes with Dart Zone’s new Sure Shot darts in place of last year’s Super darts.
Anything new on the inside?
Dart Zone has a history of making minor and sometimes major improvements mid-stream on a product or over the next several iterations of the mold. Does the Titan yield any internal differences?
Let’s see!

In short – not much. Once you disregard the wiring and secondary battery tray for the light system, the only real difference is switch set around the trigger.
Conclusion
Both versions of this blaster are a great deal of fun and perform well enough for competitive play. The looping belt allows for reloading on the fly, making it useful for scroungers.
